The bar pianist celebrates Walter Ruffler's new book
In these days will release Walter Ruffler's new book "Paper Models That Move" at
Dover Publ. (click the title) I mentioned it here last June, 2010. My pianist model
is a star of this book with 13 other models, see the website of the author. 112 pages full of technical drawings, model photos and cut-out sites, starting with an
introduction in the basics of mechanics makes the value of this recommended book.

What!? That's crazy! A sand operated mechanism? Brilliant! I'm thinking this might be worth looking at for the swinging legs/dog tail wagging mech that Rob Ives is currently developing!?
Falk, when you wrote that the bar pianist was your model, did you mean that it is your own design?! It looks exactly like Walter's style!
Its a complete model of Walter, who gaves it me some years ago.
So I'm the pride owner but not the maker.
