Paper Toys by Francois Chetcuti UPDATE

After several delays I finally got my copy of  Paper Toys by Francois Chetcuti today (previously posted). I was pleasantly surprised by it. It came in a cool tin case with a great instruction book, die cut :) papertoys and some dowels, string and beads. I haven't had a chance to put any together yet, but they look like a lot of fun and each toy is a cool piece of automata. The illustration has a real vintage toy feel. Here's a pic of the back of the tin that shows all the toys. A bargain at Amazon for 23 bucks.

Monkey Design USA

Here is a cute little robot I built over lunch on Friday. Kevin of Monkey Design USA sent him as well as a few of his friends to me. These delightful little postcard papertoys  are designed by Monkey Design in Taiwan who annually distributes 800,00 of these in Taiwan. Kevin started Monkey Design USA to make these little guys available in the States. So go check out Monkey Design USA here and you can see the full line of these amazing little papertoys as well as find out were you can buy them. Better yet tell your favorite retailer they should carry 'em.

The Rogues by 24Lemons

Here is a clever little paper toy series, The Rogues by 24Lemons. Each of these guys has a little mask that you can flip up to reveal "the true self" underneath . I like the Cow who is a frog underneath his bovine facade. Collect them all at The Rogues site here.
Plus no glue assembly, bonus!
