Eva Wylie makes beautiful art with cut paper, fabric and screenprinting. It makes me want to cut up some old photos and go to town. Or maybe just stare in awe instead. You'll find more pieces on her website.

Rag and Bone
There is a wonderful new blog out there for those of us who love paper and paper arts. Rag and Bone Bindery specializes in hand-binding beautiful books and gifts , and now there is another reason to check back often.
There is certainly an overlap in what is published on Paperforest and Rag and Bone, (the similar taste may be why I like his blog so much), but Jason at Rag and Bone continues to find amazing paper artists and unique sites, like the beautiful book and paper art of Georgia Russell, pictured above.

Rubber Stamps make Paper Models!
This post is either a little bit late or just really early for next year, given the fact that most people are over snowflakes and into willing spring's rays of sunshine once the holidays pass. But I just stumbled across some really fun stuff at Some Assembly Required. The 3D Snowflake set, above, is a collection of rubber stamps that stamp patterns to be cut out and crafted into these great snowflakes! The idea is lovely because you can turn patterned papers, file folders, work memos, and anything else made of paper into a work of art by stamping away. In this set you can also mix and match the patterns, creating all kinds of variations on these flakes. The website also has kits that are already die cut for you to assemble, and they sell the dies themselves for people with die-cutting machines. Many of the designs will flatten, so they can be used to make pop-up holiday cards. It will take some time, however, to make cards for everyone on your mailing list. This is why I think I'll claim this post very early in lieu of two weeks late :)
And it's not all seasonal, there are some year round designs there as well. The website has tons of ideas for creative projects, and there are some very affordable small stamp kits to get started before tackling the more ambitious ones.
