Jum NakaoYou have to admit--this is a creative use of PAPER! Jum Nakao. It looks as though the designer, art director, and their teams had an immersive creative retreat that resulted in some fascinating paper dresses/costumes.

The behind the scenes "Making of" images are interesting and worth seeing. There are elements of glamorous 1940's Noir, flamboyant Rococo ornament and silhouette, as well as undulating undersea forms. I trust the book and dvd set of the collection explains the whole process and its story.

WOW! No David I didn't know that! Wow! What was the idea for the show? Was it meant to be art or fashion, or both!?
Thank you for translating, if you can...
