Chris Natrop is an artist I came across while at the bookstore paging through the latest issue of New American Paintings. What is most interesting to me is that a paper artist could manage to find a way to be included in a painting publication. His cut paper "paintings" cast beautiful shadows on gallery walls that are an integral part of his installations. Check out Chris Natrop's website, especially if snowflakes are your current idea of what you would do with scissors and a piece of white paper. You will be impressed.

Amazing work - thanks for sharing the link!
Wow, how inspiring! I wonder where he buys his paper from. So slap me if I ended my sentence with a preposition... I can hear the ghost of my eighth grade teacher now (Ugh)! Don't ask me how long ago that was, I'd have to take my socks off to count.
