Keisuke Saka is one of my favorite paper toy creators. His work is simple and beautiful, and his models are well designed, so they are easy to construct even with Japanese instructions. Download these for the holidays, and create one for your secret santa or as an interactive holiday decoration. The carollers take turns singing and the reindeer stretches his muscles. Have fun!
I'm off to do some quick Christmas shopping and get things ready for the weekend. I have a busy weekend, with three show openings and a booth at L.A.'s Bazaar Bizarre. I'll fill you locals in on the wheres and whens with another post later today.

Jaime, I stop by every day and see what new thing you've found to show me.
I haven't commented often, but I thought I'd like to tell you just how much enjoyment I get from your site. I'm not sure why you keep doing it when most of your onlookers are silent. It seems like it would be hard to keep on without some feedback.
Unless, and I think I figured it out, you just love this sort of thing and enjoy compiling and sharing.
Just want you to know how much I appreciate your effort. Thanks, Cate
I do like compiling and showing what I find. I guess it keeps me up to date and knowing what is out there even if I don't actually have time to do much of the projects myself these days. Thanks for writing - I'm glad you are finding posts you like!

Jaime, count me as another lurker that has enjoyed your site immensely. I have a great interest in paper models and I love when you turn up something I haven't seen before!
Yes, I'm another person who really enjoys your site. Thanks for the time you put into it.
Between you and the guy over at Raven's Blight, I was inspired to do my own Papercraft handout for Halloween this year for the kids. We still gave out candy, but we wanted to give out something fun with a little more permanence, and a papercraft version of our crypt was a natural.
If you'd like to see it, you can download it here: ImaginEERIEing, under the 2005 handouts blurb. It's not nearly as sophisticated as the other things you show here on Paper Forest, but we were aiming for pretty young kids, and I'm pretty new to this stuff myself, so I had to keep it simple. But I've had several people request more copies, so it sounds like people are making and enjoying them.
So thanks for the inspiration, and keep up the great site. The things I find on your site consistently bring a smile to my face.
