Free Mechanical Models at Sasatoku

Sasatoku.co.jp is a fun site that has free mechanical paper toys to download and create. The downloads are pdf files and the instructions for each of the six models are on the website. It is all in Japanese, but a pretty easy site to navigate just by the images. The six white bars at the top of the page with red type on them each represent a different paper model. Scroll down to the bottom of each page and click the pdf icon to download. I have not tried to construct one of these ones just yet, but they appear to be less complicated than most mechanical pieces. They may be a great way to begin perfecting your craft, or good projects to do with younger folks.

Jaime, your work is lovely and your papery blog is wonderful. Particularly the news of Benjamin Hurdle's Paper Pipe Organ. (secretly, between you and me, I have a friend who makes giant paper spacemen).
